The Listening Room is a private residential project designed by Skai Atelier for a music enthusiast who wanted to create a dedicated space for immersive audio listening.

Located within a Singapore residence, the room was carefully designed to balance acoustic performance, spatial comfort, and refined interior aesthetics. The project explores how interior design can enhance the experience of music through thoughtful spatial planning, material selection, and lighting control.

Design Concept

The concept behind The Listening Room focuses on creating a quiet and immersive environment dedicated entirely to the enjoyment of music.

The interior design adopts a restrained palette and minimal detailing to reduce visual distractions, allowing the focus to remain on the listening experience. Soft textures, controlled lighting, and carefully positioned furniture create a comfortable space that encourages long listening sessions.
